HMAS Perth at Suez by Ivan Berryman. The class leader of three destroyers built to the U.S. Charles F Adams class design for the Royal Australian Navy, HMAS Perth served with distinction for 34 years before being scuttled in 2001 to form an artificial reef in King George Sound. She is depicted here passing through the Suez canal on one of her many deployments. |
